We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Operative with a Telehandler licence to join a busy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the daily operations, ensuring the safe movement of specialist materials and the efficient organisation of the yard facility. Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a diesel Telehandler to load and unload vehicles.
- Navigating and operating machinery safely across uneven yard surfaces.
- Pre-loading and prepping vehicles with specific materials required for next-day projects.
- Organising and stacking heavy industrial stock, including timber and metal components.
- Using various hand and power tools to assist with material preparation.
- Receiving incoming deliveries and checking stock accuracy.
