Assistant Warehouse Manager Wellesbourne, Warwickshire £27,000 - £28,000 per annum Permanent, Full-time We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne. This is a hands-on role supporting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, this is managing a small permanent team with large seasonal peaks. You'll be involved in stock control, goods in and out, picking and loading, team support and the preparation of equipment. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Warehouse Manager with the daily running of the warehouse Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks Picking and preparing orders Loading vehicles safely and efficiently Managing stock rotation and reducing waste Keeping accurate stock records using a WMS Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock Keeping the warehouse organised and safe Supporting warehouse staff with daily tasks Carrying out basic equipment checks, cleaning and charging Tracking equipment and returning to the warehouse Carrying out basic repairs and DIY tasks where required Supporting Health & Safety across the warehouse and yard About You We're looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse, stock control or logistics who wants to take the next step in their career. You should have: Previous warehouse or logistics experience Good experience with stock control and inventory Good IT skills and confidence using Excel Experience using a WMS Good attention to detail A practical, hands-on approach Good communication skills The ability to organise your own workload and meet deadlines The ability to lift and move items up to 25kg FLT Licence is desirable but not essential If this sounds like the role for you then APPLY NOW!
