We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Yard Manager to join a well-established, market-leading business in the construction and civil engineering sector, based at their depot in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is not an office job. You'll be on the yard, leading from the front, operating telehandlers, loading and offloading artics, managing stock and a small team of yard operatives. Rain or shine.

You must have:

  • Current telehandler/forklift licence (non-negotiable)
  • 5+ years operating telehandlers in a commercial yard or construction environment
  • Proven experience managing or supervising an operational team
  • Experience handling construction or hire-based products
  • Basic HR knowledge - holidays, performance, day-to-day people management
  • Full UK driving license
  • Comfortable with Outlook and basic Excel
  • Reliable, punctual, and unbothered by working outdoors in all weathers
