If so, this could be a fantastic next step. We’re supporting a Southam-based business seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a permanent, office-based role offering variety, responsibility, and a brilliant benefits package.

So what would you be doing?

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly & annual statements
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS)
  • Maintaining general ledger
  • Posting journals
  • Oversee AP & AR
  • VAT & Submitting tax calculations
  • PAYE Compliance & Liaising with payroll providers
  • Assisting with year-end processes and external audits

But what experience do you need?

  • Previous experience in a Financial Accounting role
  • Strong understanding of VAT, journals, reconciliations, and month-end processes
  • Confident producing accounts up to Trial Balance
  • Experience in SME Standalone business
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly
  • Comfortable using finance systems and Excel
  • AAT Qualification or working towards an Accounting Qualification
