We are currently exclusively partnering with a specialist alternative education provider seeking an experienced and values-driven Head of Provision to lead one of their educational settings.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious educational professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people facing barriers to mainstream education.
You'll play a pivotal role in leading day-to-day provision operations, embedding high educational standards, driving safeguarding culture, and supporting both learners and staff to thrive within a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role
As Head of Provision, you will oversee the operational and educational leadership of a specialist provision, ensuring high standards across safeguarding, behaviour, learner outcomes, staff performance, and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with senior leadership teams, you'll help shape provision culture while maintaining a strong focus on quality assurance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day management of the provision
Line managing teaching and support staff
Driving high standards in behaviour, attendance, and learner outcomes
Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the provision
Supporting curriculum implementation and quality assurance processes
Conducting learning walks, observations, and operational reviews
Managing stakeholder relationships with schools, local authorities, and families
Leading restorative practices, reintegration support, and learner interventions
Ensuring safeguarding, compliance, and operational procedures are consistently maintained
Supporting staff development, accountability, and professional growth
