We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control / Sales Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business with a friendly and supportive accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable company where many members of staff have worked together for over 10 years.

The successful candidate will support both the credit control and sales ledger functions within a busy accounts department, managing a high-value ledger of approximately £78 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
  • Chasing outstanding payments and carrying out credit control duties
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Checking and maintaining rebate agreements
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Making informed decisions regarding customer accounts
  • Working closely with the wider accounts team
Requirements
  • Previous experience within credit control and/or sales ledger
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence in managing accounts and making decisions
