Are you looking for part time hours? If so, we want to talk to you! We are looking for a Security Officer with corporate experience preferably in a blue chip environment. Do you communicate effectively, have a proactive approach, and have confidence in handling challenging situations? This is a fantastic opportunity to work Monday to Friday where no two days are the same.
In this role, you will be coordinating all aspects of day‑to‑day security on our client site and much more. Hours of work: Monday to Friday with flexibility required to work 1‑2 shifts per week (more on occasions) as needed. Location: Bishopsgate, London.
What will I be doing?
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Secure and protect all client company assets: people, facilities, and property with a primary purpose of the protection of people.
- Respond to emergency situations with a sense of urgency and maintain open communication flow with client management staff.
- Provide access-control utilizing excellent judgment and client provided tools when needed.
- Recognize and elevate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of their shift.
- Perform regular field audits (checklists) for facilities and elevate findings to management.
- Effectively use client provided IT, communication and collaboration systems.
- Complete all paperwork and reports, as necessary.
- Any other roles as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- 2‑3 years of corporate security experience.
- A combination of corporate front‑of‑house with military/law enforcement experience is preferable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability with experience in report writing and presenting to management.
- Ability to prioritise workload with a focus on multi‑tasking.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to utilise new technology and innovate.
- Action oriented with a passion for getting things done quickly, efficiently, and properly.
