The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications for TEMPORARY CUSTODIANS for the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education encompassing Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland Counties (Cobequid, Celtic, Nova and Chignecto Families of Schools). Placement in temporary positions could lead to permanent employment. As this position is casual in nature, there are no guaranteed hours of work.
Rate of Pay: $24.68/hr. as per the CCRCE/CUPE Collective Agreement
Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 high school diploma or academic equivalent through educational programs such as Graduated Equivalent Diploma (GED)
- Possess a valid N.S. Driver’s License
- Experience/knowledge in modern cleaning methods, materials, and equipment would be a definite asset
- Have or be willing to take WHMIS, first aid training, etc.
- Be able to provide their own transportation to and from work sites
