Working in our Children's Homes means being a part of a young person's day-to-day life. This involves being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. Our team leaders enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well-rounded adults — an incredibly rewarding role. Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our aim is to create the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care. Our team leaders are fulfilled by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, and we celebrate these little victories.
Key Responsibilities
- Take care of young people daily, ensuring things run smoothly and creating lasting memories.
- Support and oversee the staff team.
- Ensure the home operates at high standards.
- Be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers.
- Relate to and build relationships with young people.
- Provide leadership that inspires colleagues.

- Salary: Base salary of £36,568 - £44,072
- Bonuses: Up to 3 sleep-ins per month paid at £80 per sleep, approximately £2,880 per year, plus attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year

We’re Looking For

- A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
- Level 3 Children's Residential Care qualification.
New to this role? You will join our 'Care Academy' — 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to prepare you for supporting young people.
