Description Under the direction of the ASC Director, performs a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a surgical setting. Has direct responsibility and accountability for the care of the patient undergoing GI and Pain procedures. Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the patient visit. Coordinates total patient care in coordination with other health care team members. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient\’s Bill of Rights.
