Provide Education are looking for passionate and dedicated YR1 Teacher to work in one of partner schools in Wakefield. Whether you’re an experienced Primary Teacher or an ECT, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and support the early learning and development of children in Key Stage 1. This role is to work on a full time basis, after February half term to cover a maternity leave so will include all teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Foster a supportive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, track and report on pupils progress and development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and senior leadership
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s learning journey
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management and communications skills
- A passion for early years teaching & learning
- Ability to motivate and encourage active participation among KS1 pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one)
