We are currently working with a primary school in the Wakefield area who are looking to recruit a Teacher to work across early years and KS1 and also provide part time SENCO duties. This is a full time role, starting in March and working until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students in EYFS and KS1
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and progress
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
  • Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback to aid development
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to pastoral care and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, SCITT, etc.)
  • Recent teaching experience in UK primary schools
  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Previous experience working as a SENCO or Deputy SENCO would be beneficial
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Completed Level 1 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete online)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
