Provide Education are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join the team of one of our partner Primary Schools on a full-time basis. This role is to cover maternity leave and is expected to continue on a long-term basis through out the academic year

About the Role

  • Full time, Monday – Friday

  • Maternity cover, long-term

  • Offer support to both teachers and pupils in the classroom

  • Work across EYFS, KS1 & KS2

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
  • Assist pupils with additional needs (SEND, SEMH, EAL and behavioural)

  • Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the classroom

Requirements

  • Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3)

  • Previous experience working with primary aged children (ideally in a school setting)

  • Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
