Provide Education are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Level 2 & 3 SEND Teaching Assistants to support our partner Primary Schools across Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is passionate about supporting inclusive education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN needs
  • Work in one-to-one or small group settings
  • Help in managing challenging behaviours positively and professionally
  • Support pupils\’ social, emotional and academic development
  • Work effectively with class teachers and SENCOs
  • Monitor, track and report on student progress
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Assist with personal care as needed

Requirements

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or specialist setting
  • Strong understanding of learning difficulties, autism, ADHD and other SEND areas
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour
  • Patient, positive and resilient attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
