Provide Education are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Level 2 & 3 SEND Teaching Assistants to support our partner Primary Schools across Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is passionate about supporting inclusive education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN needs
- Work in one-to-one or small group settings
- Help in managing challenging behaviours positively and professionally
- Support pupils\’ social, emotional and academic development
- Work effectively with class teachers and SENCOs
- Monitor, track and report on student progress
- Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Assist with personal care as needed
Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or specialist setting
- Strong understanding of learning difficulties, autism, ADHD and other SEND areas
- Confident managing challenging behaviour
- Patient, positive and resilient attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
