We are currently working with a secondary school in the Sheffield area who are looking to recruit a Principal to be responsible for the leadership, internal organisation and management of the Academy. This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible and working on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulating a strategy for the Academy
- Leadership of the staff as well as the students
- Liaising with parents / carers
- Implementing a balanced and broad curriculum
- Managing resources
- Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of all children
- Upholding the ethos and values of the Academy
Candidate Requirements
- NPQH (desirable)
- Qualified to degree level
- PGCE (or equivalent)
- Qualified to teach in England
- Evidence of recent, relevant professional development
