Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support to pupils and teachers
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils needing extra help
  • Support behaviour management strategies
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school/ education setting or childcare experience
  • Understanding of child development and how children learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A relevant qualification (e.g Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable
  • Safeguarding Level 1 (or willingness to complete course)
