Provide Education is seeking a proactive, experienced, and supportive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield, supporting pupils across the school and contributing to high-quality teaching and learning. This is a full-time, ongoing position, to start in September 2026. You would be working closely with teachers and senior leaders to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). The successful candidate will deliver targeted interventions, lead learning activities, and provide classroom cover when required.

- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Experience delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress
- Ability to lead whole-class learning in the teacher's absence
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and parents/carers
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
- Deliver planned lessons and learning activities to whole classes when required
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Lead targeted intervention groups to accelerate pupil progress
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with varying needs
- Assist teachers with planning, preparation, assessment, and monitoring pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development
- Help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, SENCOs, and senior leaders
