Overview
We are currently working with a multi‑academy trust that runs a group of alternative provisions across the country for students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs. They are looking for an Area Manager to provide educational leadership across a portfolio of sites, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, safeguarding and learner outcomes. This is a full‑time permanent position and regular travel between sites is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational leadership and quality assurance across the portfolio.
- Lead instruction and foster professional development for staff.
- Engage with stakeholders and promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with commissioning schools, local authorities and statutory frameworks.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and learner outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in educational leadership or alternative provision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to travel regularly between sites.
- Full DBS check, references and pre‑employment checks.
