Provide Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DN7 area of Doncaster. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Year 5, helping them to access learning, engage in classroom activities, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Support a Year 5 pupil with SEND throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Build a strong and supportive relationship with the pupil
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children with SEND, either in schools or other settings
