Teaching Assistant – 1:1 SEND Support (KS2) Location: DN6, Doncaster Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a welcoming primary school in the DN6 area of Doncaster from September.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.

The Role Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEND.

Support learning activities both in and out of the classroom.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement individual learning strategies.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development.

Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable.

Experience in a primary school setting is advantageous.

Patient, caring, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.

Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
