Provide Education are working with positive, forward thinking secondary schools in Doncaster to find Cover Supervisors ready to make a difference. Working on a full-time basis to provide consistent, high quality learning to students in the absence of their usual teacher. You will supervise whole classes to ensure maintained focus and engagement during the lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality delivery of pre-planned lessons to classes.
  • Supporting students where possible in lessons to promote progress.
  • Implementing good classroom management and behaviour strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work as part of the wider school support team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who is adaptable, confident and enthusiastic.
  • Strongly skilled in behaviour management and supporting children in the classroom.
  • Flexibility in covering a wide variety of subjects.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service; if you do not currently have a valid DBS we can help you apply for one!
  • Good understanding of safeguarding children, with a minimum of Level 1 Safeguarding.
  • Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential; we offer in house training to help prepare you!
