Provide Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the DN12 area of Doncaster to recruit an experienced SEND Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable SEND practitioner to make a significant impact on the education and development of pupils with additional needs.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, delivering high-quality teaching and learning tailored to individual needs. The school is seeking a teacher who can bring proven SEND expertise and contribute to the wider development of inclusive practice across the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Significant experience teaching within a primary school setting
- A strong track record of working with pupils with SEND
- Experience leading or co-leading SEND provision within a school
- Excellent knowledge of SEND legislation, interventions and best practice
- The ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
Please note: This role is not suitable for teachers whose SEND experience has been limited to short-term supply work or a general interest in SEND. The school is specifically seeking an experienced teacher who has worked within a school on a long-term basis and has played an active role in leading or supporting SEND provision.
