We’re currently looking for a Science Teacher to join a secondary school in DN32 from September 2026. This is a long-term role with a focus on teaching Science across KS3, so we’re looking for someone who is confident delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of the secondary science curriculum. The school welcomes teachers with a specialism in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics, however candidates must feel comfortable teaching all three sciences at KS3 level. You’ll be joining a supportive department and taking responsibility for your own classes, so strong classroom presence and behaviour management are important. The school is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, and there may be an opportunity for trial days or settling-in days before the summer holidays for the successful candidate.

  • Teaching Science across KS3, with some KS4 if required.
  • Planning and teaching lessons in line with the national curriculum across all three Sciences.
