Provide Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in the DN12 area from September. This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate likely to be based in Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3–4), supporting pupils' learning and delivering high-quality interventions and whole-class teaching when required.
The Role
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- September start
- Likely placement within Lower Key Stage 2
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom
- Lead small group and intervention sessions
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or has significant experience working at HLTA level
- Has recent experience within a UK primary school
- Confident delivering lessons across the primary curriculum
- Has excellent behaviour management skills
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Provide Education
