Responsibilities
- Support a Year 5 pupil with SEND throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Build a strong and supportive relationship with the pupil
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with SEND, either in schools or other settings
- Patient, caring, and resilient
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Can commit to a full-time role until the summer holidays
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS check required
