Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework, including ongoing assessment and marking where appropriate.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leaders to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Promote positive behaviour and implement school policies effectively.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development.
- Adapt confidently to new settings and quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Previous experience teaching within EYFS.
- Strong classroom management skills with a child-centred approach to learning.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
