We are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a secondary school in Doncaster from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established department, teaching English across KS3 and KS4. The school is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs, so whether you are just starting your career or looking for a fresh opportunity, we would be keen to hear from you.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 that support student progress in line with curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Help students develop literacy, analytical and exam skills.

We are looking for:

  • A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in a secondary school (including ECT placements).
  • Someone confident delivering English across Key Stages.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum up to GCSE level.
  • Availability for a September start.
