We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN2 area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher, or an ECT, to join a supportive school and play a key role in preparing pupils for and supporting them through their Year 6 SATs.
The Role
- Full-time Year 6 teaching position
- Starting in September
- Role is likely to continue until June 2026
- Supporting pupils with their learning and preparation in the lead-up to SATs
- Providing focused support and encouragement during the SATs period
- Planning and delivering engaging, effective lessons
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure pupils are well supported
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
The School
The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils and help them achieve their full potential during an important year of their primary education. Experience of teaching Year 6 and SATs preparation would be advantageous, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
