Are you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school? Provide Education is recruiting a full-time Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school from September. This varied role will involve a combination of general classroom support alongside providing SEND support to pupils, making every day rewarding and engaging.
The Role
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- September start
- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1
- Providing a mixture of whole-class, small group and 1:1 support
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning opportunities
- Supporting children with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
- Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1
- Has experience supporting children with SEND or is keen to develop within this area
- Is patient, nurturing and adaptable
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Provide Education
