Provide Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the DN6 area. This full-time role is available for an immediate start and will run through to the summer holidays.

You will be working on a one-to-one basis with a pupil with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and thrive within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
  • Assist in delivering individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
  • A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential
