We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming school in the DN6 area from September 2026, providing maternity cover for approximately 10 months. The role will be 1β2 days per week and would suit an experienced primary teacher looking for a part-time opportunity within a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching across Key Stage 2, ideally within Years 5 and 6
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Be organised, reliable and adaptable
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
