Provide Education is seeking a confident and committed Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in DN6. This is a long-term supply position for the remainder of the academic year, supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The role will involve working closely with teaching staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. The school includes pupils with additional needs, so experience supporting young people with SEND within a secondary school setting is highly desirable.

Role Requirements:

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and progress
- Support pupils across a range of subjects, including English, Maths and Science
- Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Encourage pupil independence, engagement and participation
- Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and pastoral teams
