Provide Equipment Hub (PEH) is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Management Accountant to lead our Management Accounting function and support strategic financial decision‑making across the organisation. This is a key leadership role within the Finance team, responsible for delivering high‑quality reporting, insightful analysis and robust budgeting and forecasting processes, while developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
The Role
As Senior Management Accountant, you will manage the workload and deliverables of the Management Accountant team, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate, insightful and meaningful. You will work closely with operational managers and senior leaders to deepen understanding of income and cost drivers, enabling informed, evidence‑based decisions. You will also lead continuous improvement within the team, ensuring processes are efficient and team members are supported and held accountable for delivery. A core part of the role includes supporting the delivery of rolling forecasts and annual budgets, critically reviewing assumptions and outputs to ensure financial robustness.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of partner statements accurately and on time, addressing data challenges and improving production processes
- Assist in delivering rolling forecasts and annual budgets, critiquing assumptions and results
- Lead monitoring, reporting, budgeting and forecasting of operational costs, working with departments to identify efficiencies
- Deliver departmental financial reports to managers to support cost control and budget achievement
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of data reporting systems and their impact on financial results
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate year‑end audit requirements within agreed deadlines
- Line manage and develop the Management Accountant team, providing supervision, performance management and training
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and provide regular and ad‑hoc analysis as required
