Registered Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Bayman Ward. Bayman Ward is a 25 bedded nurse led unit providing stroke rehabilitation on an up to 6 week stroke pathway for patients with stroke impairments, supported by a full MDT comprising of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and psychology.

To support the planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised care, focusing on promoting rehabilitation to improve the patients' function with a view to them returning back to their home environment or suitable onward placement.

• To complete admissions and discharges ensuring that paperwork is completed and TTA's ordered in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to infection control.
• Complete MCA's as required.
• Supervise and support students and staff on the ward.
• Moving and handling of patients assessed by therapy.
