Our paediatric SEND team are looking for an occupational therapist to join the team on a bank basis. This post requires the post-holder to visit schools across the Essex area, so it is essential that they can drive and have access to their own car.

Responsibilities

  • Visit schools across the Essex area and engage with children and families.
  • Liaise with nursery and education staff and contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans.
  • Provide training (in-person or virtually) to nursery and education staff and parents as required.
  • Drive to various locations across Essex as part of the role.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Hold an appropriate occupational therapy degree and be HCPC/RCSLT registered.
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to drive and have access to own car.
