Our paediatric SEND team are looking for an occupational therapist to join the team on a bank basis. This post requires the post-holder to visit schools across the Essex area, so it is essential that they can drive and have access to their own car.
Responsibilities
- Visit schools across the Essex area and engage with children and families.
- Liaise with nursery and education staff and contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans.
- Provide training (in-person or virtually) to nursery and education staff and parents as required.
- Drive to various locations across Essex as part of the role.
Qualifications and requirements
- Hold an appropriate occupational therapy degree and be HCPC/RCSLT registered.
- Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
- Ability to drive and have access to own car.
