We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within Essex Wellbeing Services delivering advice and support to those wanting to stop smoking.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based stop‑smoking interventions, including one‑to‑one, drop‑in, group sessions, telephone, and online support in accordance with the NCSCT Standard Treatment Programme.
- Engage with Service Users and provide smoking cessation advice and support to smokers in the community using Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and behavioural change techniques.
- Work as part of a locality‑based team providing support and intervention to adults looking to make changes to their health and wellbeing.
- Be based at home but travel to the areas covered by the locality team in North, West, Mid and South Essex when required.
