We are looking for a senior clinical manager to provide operational and clinical leadership within the Integrated Care Team (ICT) for the Braintree locality team. The role will involve leading a team of clinical staff to deliver a range of clinical services to support the community adult population of your locality. The post holder will be the operational lead for the locality and have an extensive clinical and organisational skills portfolio to complement their workforce. The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by their line manager.

Main duties of the job:

  • Oversee and support clinicians in the prioritisation of planned and unplanned work.
  • Manage senior clinical nurses' performance against targets which include attendance and sickness, budget control, recruiting for excellence and delivering on Provide's mission and values.
  • Lead in the collection and collation of key information to support the evidencing of performance set against service indicators.
  • Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive and contentious information; presenting information to a wide range of stakeholders in a formal setting.

Experience:

  • Previous experience at band 7 or above

Qualifications:

  • NMC registration
  • DN course or equivalent
  • Leadership and management experience
