Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for clinicians and medical staff, producing high‑quality patient records and correspondence using audio typing skills.
- Maintain specialist knowledge of a clinical service area or range of services supported by the Administration Support Team.
- Answer queries, chase progress, solve task‑related problems and resolve issues for clinical/medical staff or patients; provide non‑clinical advice or information to others.
- Input data into clinical and administrative systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Use the SystmOne system to produce standard reports from databases.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent typing skills, including audio typing.
- Experience using IT systems such as SystmOne or other relevant IT skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality and clear communication with all services, teams and colleagues.
