As part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive paediatric occupational therapy service for children in education who present with developmental concerns. To work with children and their families in their educational setting and any other appropriate setting as well as within the children's centre. To contribute to and participate in the organisation, planning and development of the occupational therapy service to this care group. To participate in setting the standards of care and monitoring the quality of service and referral/waiting times.
Main duties of the job include:
- To gain consent and undertake occupational therapy assessment, formulate and implement treatment plans using specialist knowledge and experience.
- With knowledge of a wide range of paediatric conditions and treatment modalities to interpret and analyse clinical facts using advanced clinical reasoning and problem solving skills in a wide range of conditions and recommend the best course of intervention.

- Relevant Post Graduation training

- 2-3 years post grad experience with paediatrics
- MDT experience
