Your profile
- Graduated with a degree level, preferably in Life Sciences.
- At least 5 years of strong background in a Key Account Manager role within the pharmaceutical world, including at least 2 years in the UK Hospital environment.
- Successfully passed the ABPI Medical Representatives Exam.
- Expertise and solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare institutions.
- Key Account Management in the Hospital Environment, able to master the environment and decision-making process circuits of hospitals.
- Commercial techniques such as selling, influencing, presenting and negotiation.
- Successful experience of launching a new medicine into the NHS.
- Recognised as a business-oriented person with high capabilities in relational skills and in creating a bond with customers.
- Ability to respect the ethical way in which the UK pharmaceutical industry conducts its business.
- Active listening skills and a desire to understand to find solutions in line with time and priority constraints.
- Strategic and tactical in approach to tackle different customer issues.
- Ability to use digital tools and new means of communication effectively.
- Spirit of initiative and demonstrate autonomy in work.
Main Goal
Provepharm UK is recruiting a Key Account Manager for the Midlands/South Wales territory to support the launch of a transformative new product. Part of a team of 5 people, including 3 KAMs covering different geographical areas of the UK, you will be in charge of the effective promotion of our existing portfolio of products while representing the company and ensuring the interests and needs of the company.
Responsibilities
- Commit to using all compliant means to achieve the annual sales goal.
- Promote the use of the products to all relevant departments in the hospital where our products are included in a Hospital Formulary.
- Identify and work with relevant stakeholders to develop a successful Formulary submission where our products are not included.
- Gather information and work with the Country Manager to manage/win commercial contracts or tenders.
- Promote the proper use of the pharmaceutical specialties entrusted to you.
- Organize and lead promotional information meetings if necessary.
- Evaluate the commercial potential of accounts and qualify them.
- Write activity reports, especially in the CRM.
- Develop and maintain specific account plans for identified target accounts.
- Promote the reputation of Provepharm.
- Maintain professional relationships with hospital practitioners and buyers of major key accounts.
- Conduct competitive intelligence activities and monitor changes in the hospital and clinic environment.
- Participate in the development of customer awareness (customer centricity).
- Coordinate responsibilities with internal stakeholders (sales management, marketing, medical etc).
Quality
- Acquire and maintain regulatory, environmental and product knowledge to pass on an expert message to your contacts.
- Respect the lists of promotional documents and ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Respect good practices and procedures of Pharmacovigilance, complaints and medical information requests.
- Report all notifications of adverse events and/or special situations, quality defects or requests for medical information.
Meetings / "Duo" days
- Prepare for and participate in seminars, cycle meetings and regional meetings, as well as any training seminars.
- Constructively participate in "duo" days with your manager to set professional development objectives and corresponding actions.
Administrative management
- Carry out all administrative tasks (daily activity data entry, expense reports, etc.) and communicate them on time.
