Our mission is to enable financial services organisations worldwide to accelerate digital transformation, combat fraud, and deliver superior customer experiences through data, decisioning, and AI.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team — someone who combines commercial drive with curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
This role blends hands‑on prospecting and opportunity generation with a focus on team enablement, development, and process excellence. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we connect with prospects, share insights, and continuously improve our approach.
As a Senior BDR, you’ll act as both a high‑performing individual contributor and a mentor — leading by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, and helping to build a supportive, learning‑oriented environment.
This role is UK‑based, with a preference for candidates who can work from our London or Leeds office twice a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Identify, engage, and qualify senior‑level enterprise prospects across target banks, financial institutions, telcos, and other key industries in the UK.
- Player‑Mentor Role: Lead by example, consistently meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets while supporting others to reach their goals.
- BDR Enablement: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to refine messaging, outreach cadences, and campaigns — focusing on impact, consistency, and authenticity.
- Process & Continuous Improvement: Champion Salesforce best practice and engagement tools (e.g. Lusha, cadence tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator), promoting clean data and clear communication.
- Support & Knowledge Sharing: Offer guidance, peer coaching, and constructive feedback to help elevate team confidence, skills, and performance.
- Relationship Building: Build genuine connections with prospects and internal teams, approaching every conversation with curiosity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams on campaign execution, event follow‑up, and regional outreach — fostering strong alignment between Marketing, Sales, and BDRs.
- Cultural Awareness: Support pipeline generation across EMEA and APAC, adapting your approach to reflect regional nuances, communication styles, and market maturity.
- Reporting & Reflection: Track key metrics (activity, conversion, pipeline contribution) and share insights to celebrate success, identify growth opportunities, and encourage continuous learning.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role within fintech, SaaS, or B2B technology — ideally selling to banks and financial institutions.
- Experience mentoring or coaching peers, with a genuine interest in developing people, culture, and process improvements.
- Proven ability to build and nurture meaningful relationships with enterprise prospects, driving consistent, high‑quality pipeline generation.
Why Join Us?
At Provenir, you’ll join a global leader empowering businesses to move faster, smarter, and more confidently.
Here’s what you’ll gain:
- A chance to shape the future of decisioning EMEA’s fast‑growing payments ecosystem.
- The ability to make a real impact, backed by a proven platform and global client success.
- Autonomy, flexibility, and support from a high‑performance, collaborative team.
- A role that puts your industry connections and regional expertise to powerful use.
