The Business Development Representative is an inside sales position responsible for:

  • Researching target companies and identifying relevant individuals.
  • Acquiring contact details and contacting them with personalized messaging to generate and qualify new business leads.
  • Transitioning established leads to our sales network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture prospect organizations within the financial services industry.
  • Conduct a needs analysis to determine a prospect’s pain points and key objectives.
  • Thrive in an accountable, quota-driven sales culture.
  • Research resources to improve and increase our leads database.
  • Engage with 'C' level B2B relationships and navigate complex tier 1 and tier 2 enterprise accounts.
  • Manage and update data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and events.
  • Participate in weekly sales team meetings.
  • Demonstrate organized and effective communication and listening skills.
  • Be self-motivated and a team player.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in enterprise-wide solution sales to banks, lenders, and fintech.
  • Language skills in English and Turkish; additional languages relevant to the Balkans region are a strong advantage.

Education:

  • BS in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or any related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development and lead generation.

Qualifications, Strengths and Skills:

  • Ability to understand complex technology and convey messaging to a range of prospects.
  • B2B background in Fintech and/or financial services highly preferred.
  • A 'hunter' mentality with a proactive approach to generating new business leads.
  • Efficient, process-driven business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in maintaining and expanding a Salesforce CRM database.
  • An active LinkedIn account and strong social selling skills.
