About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is more than just a driving job—you’ll be the face of our business, delivering plants, trees, and shrubs to customers across the South East. This is a hands‑on, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working outdoors, and delivering high-quality products that require care and attention. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our horticultural goods arrive safely and in excellent condition, while providing outstanding customer service. What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering plants, trees, and shrubs safely and efficiently across the South East
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards
- Loading and unloading delicate horticultural products with care
- Assessing delivery sites to ensure safe offloading and protecting customer property
- Securing loads correctly to prevent damage in transit
- Completing all delivery paperwork accurately, including returns and customer sign‑off
- Reporting damages, defects, or maintenance issues promptly
- Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle at all times
- Communicating effectively with the transport office, planners, and customers
- Complying with all UK driving laws, Working Time Directive, and FORS Silver standards
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Up-to‑date Driver CPC
- Strong knowledge of UK road safety regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
Desirable (training provided):
- HIAB (crane) licence
- Counterbalance forklift licence
