In order to keep the sales team operating effectively, we are recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join our busy and supportive Sales team. If you are organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing their knowledge of the operational side of sales while supporting a dynamic team. You will play a key role in coordinating sales support activities, particularly for customers requiring direct quotes or additional assistance with online orders. This is a permanent position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Processing and amending customer orders
  • Scheduling and coordinating delivery slots
  • Supporting customers with quotes and online orders
  • Handling incoming calls professionally and directing enquiries internally appropriately
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Printing and processing online orders, pick sheets, and pick lists
  • Creating purchase orders and order fulfilment documentation and on occasion liaising with customers to arrange and process payments
  • Maintaining organised filing systems and general office administration

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Professional, confident, and polite when communicating
  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable learning new systems and software
  • Previous experience in an office environment is essential
  • Horticultural knowledge or experience would be advantageous but is not required—however, an interest in plants would be beneficial.

You should be confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues via phone, email, and in person.

£29,500 - £32,500 per annum (dependent on experience and meeting essential criteria)
