Provenance is on a mission to empower 1 billion citizens to choose products that match their values, and we are building the tech to make it happen. Our trusted platform enables transparency on the social and environmental impact of consumer products, and we are looking for a mission-aligned, tech savvy Business Development Manager to help us drive our next phase of growth at the most exciting time.
Used by 300+ brands and retailers globally (including Holland & Barrett, Ocado, The Hut Group, MECCA), we are the data layer they need to become discoverable and credible to shoppers, LLMs, and AI agents reshaping how consumers buy. The shift to agentic commerce is happening now and we are right at the centre of it. We are a B Corp-certified social enterprise backed by impact investors, and a London-based team of 16 at a genuinely pivotal moment - scaling our platform for agentic commerce, expanding from hundreds of customers to thousands and laying the foundations for long-term, systemic impact.
We help brands show proof of what they are claiming - whether that is genuinely vegan, clinically proven, or sustainably made - in a way both people and AI can read and trust. When that proof is visible, spending flows to products that actually deliver, not just the ones with the biggest ad budgets. That is better for shoppers and fairer for the brands doing the right thing.
This is a rare chance to join a fast-growing startup in tech-for-good, owning the full sales cycle from cold prospect to signed contract. You will report to our Head of Customer Success & Partnerships, working closely with the CEO on more strategic enterprise opportunities and our Senior Marketing Manager on inbound strategy. Our Rev Ops Manager handles the tooling and workflows so you can stay focused on building the pipeline and winning business. We are targeting beauty, personal care, FMCG and wellness sectors and you will be building relationships across sustainability, marketing and commerce decision-makers at major brands and retailers.
Contract: Full-time Hybrid Role, London Euston (Tuesday & Thursday in the office)
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 basic + commission (depending on level and experience)
Requirements:
- Identify, pitch, negotiate and close new business - from both inbound leads and outbound prospecting
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline with accurate CRM forecasting (owner and ambassador of HubSpot reporting and analytics)

- Develop targeted strategies for winning major retailers and brands across beauty, personal care, wellness and FMCG sectors
- Implement and enforce a structured GTM approach across the region, including lead scoring, persona mapping, and use-case alignment
- Identify and attend industry events and networking forums to represent Provenance and build our network in person
- Collaborate across teams to align lead generation efforts with Commercial, Product, Engineering and Customer Success objectives
- Hand off new clients to Customer Success for a seamless onboarding experience
- Use an AI-first toolkit - including Notion, Claude Cowork, HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive productivity, performance and pace.
What we are looking for:
- 2-5 years B2B sales experience, ideally in retail tech, loyalty or data-driven solutions

- Comfortable navigating complex corporate buying processes
