We are recruiting on behalf of a growing international brand group that owns and manages a portfolio of globally recognised fashion, lifestyle and premium consumer brands. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Merchandiser to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial business during a period of growth. Working across multiple brands and product categories, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance through planning, forecasting, inventory management, trading analysis and product assortment strategies.
You will work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Operations and E-commerce teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, whilst supporting profitable growth across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and seasonal trading and inventory reports, providing actionable commercial insights.
- Analyse product, category and promotional performance, identifying opportunities to maximise sales and profitability.
- Conduct post-event and promotional reviews, highlighting successes, learnings and future opportunities.
- Produce seasonal product reviews, identifying best sellers, underperformers and assortment gaps.
- Develop assortment plans and buying recommendations aligned to Open-To-Buy (OTB) budgets and commercial objectives.
- Support seasonal range planning, product selection and purchasing decisions.
- Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels and recommend in-season trading actions.
- Manage replenishment plans and inventory allocations across e-commerce channels.
- Monitor delivery schedules and collaborate with Operations to ensure timely product launches.
- Work closely with Marketing teams to support seasonal launches, promotions and product upload requirements.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities across product, pricing and promotional strategies.
- Prepare seasonal buy review presentations and trading updates for senior stakeholders.
- Support the Design and Product teams with trend forecasting and commercial product recommendations.
- 4+ years' experience in Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Retail Analytics or a similar commercial role.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
- Experience working with retail, fashion, lifestyle, sportswear or consumer product businesses.
- Understanding of inventory management, forecasting, OTB planning and trading analysis.
- Shopify experience would be advantageous.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fashion, premium brands, streetwear and consumer trends.
