Our client, a global fashion brand known for its modern, functional aesthetic, is urgently seeking a Freelance Footwear Designer.

The project focuses on a concise capsule of canvas and outdoor-inspired lifestyle footwear that blends craftsmanship, comfort, and a refined urban edge.

Project Scope
  • Men’s Core Line: Premium sneakers, casual boots, and vulcanised silhouettes.
  • Women’s Line: Urban streetwear silhouettes designed with sustainable materials and subtle signature details.
Responsibilities
  • Research seasonal trends, materials, and silhouettes within lifestyle and utility-driven footwear.
  • Create direction boards with themes, colours, and material stories for SS26.
  • Design and develop original footwear concepts, sketches, and detailed technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Design to shape a cohesive and commercially viable range plan.
  • Build tech packs/spec sheets and liaise with factories to ensure design accuracy.
  • Support fit reviews and update designs based on feedback.
Profile
  • Min 5+ years’ experience in footwear design, ideally across canvas, casual, or lifestyle categories.
  • Strong understanding of materials, lasts, and construction for both men’s and women’s footwear.
  • Skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
  • Creative, self-driven, and comfortable managing full design cycles independently.

Location: Hybrid (London / Manchester / Birmingham)

Start: Immediate (ideally)
