We are seeking an experienced freelance luxury womenswear designer to support the development of an elevated Ready-to-Wear collection for an internationally recognised luxury fashion brand. The role requires a designer with a refined aesthetic sensibility and strong luxury RTW experience, capable of taking a collection from initial research and concept through to final design resolution and technical development.
Scope includes:
- Trend and creative research
- Market analysis and competitor positioning
- Moodboards and fabric/technique direction
- Collection structure and silhouette development
- Design development across dresses, tailoring, tops, and leather
- Technical solutions and garment construction input
- Tech pack creation for final confirmed styles
- Ongoing involvement during fittings and prototype refinement
We are looking for someone with:
- Extensive luxury RTW experience
- Strong tailoring and/or leather expertise
- Excellent technical understanding and garment construction knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior creative teams
- Experience delivering runway-level or Tier 1 collections
- Strong communication and presentation skills
