We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established business – a leading global sportswear brand, to fill multiple positions within their finance team. These opportunities are ideal for individuals looking to develop a strong foundation in finance, with exposure across both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Accounts Payable - Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct matching to purchase orders
- Prepare and process supplier payments in a timely manner
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor company bank accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end processes
- Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies
Accounts Receivable / Credit Control - Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts, including invoicing and payment tracking
- Reconcile incoming payments and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor aged debt and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Support debt collection activities and liaise with customers
- Assist with credit checks and onboarding of new accounts
- Prepare reports on receivables and cash flow
General Finance Duties
- Support cash flow reporting and financial analysis
- Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks across the team
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices
About You
- Currently studying towards AAT, finance degree, or CICM (or equivalent)
- 1–2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working with finance systems and Excel
